1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our services, scheduling appointments, or bringing your pet to Gubuvo Pet Grooming, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Use of Service
Gubuvo Pet Grooming provides professional pet grooming services including but not limited to bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and styling. Our services are intended for household pets in good general health. We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet that displays aggressive behavior or poses a safety risk to our staff or other animals.
3. User Responsibilities
As a client of Gubuvo Pet Grooming, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your pet’s health, behavior, temperament, and any special needs or medical conditions
- Ensure your pet is up to date on all required vaccinations and provide proof upon request
- Disclose any history of aggressive behavior or biting incidents
- Inform us of any skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities your pet may have
- Arrive on time for scheduled appointments or provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations
- Pay for services rendered in full at the time of service
- Supervise your pet during pick-up and drop-off
4. Limitations of Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet, grooming services involve inherent risks. Gubuvo Pet Grooming shall not be held liable for:
- Pre-existing health conditions that may be aggravated during grooming
- Injuries or complications arising from undisclosed medical conditions or behaviors
- Minor scratches, nicks, or clipper irritation that may occasionally occur during standard grooming procedures
- Stress-related reactions in pets with anxiety or nervous dispositions
- Skin conditions or matting discovered during grooming that may require additional care
- Any issues arising from severely matted coats that require extensive de-matting or shaving
In the event of a medical emergency, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you immediately and may seek veterinary care at your expense if necessary.
5. Appointment and Cancellation Policy
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or loss of future booking privileges. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate future appointments for clients who repeatedly miss scheduled appointments.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full upon completion of services. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Prices are subject to change and may vary based on pet size, coat condition, and specific services requested. Additional fees may apply for severely matted coats, aggressive behavior handling, or emergency de-matting procedures.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate our relationship with any client at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Aggressive or abusive behavior toward staff
- Failure to disclose important information about your pet
- Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations
- Non-payment for services rendered
- Pets that pose a safety risk to our staff or other animals
8. Changes to Terms
Gubuvo Pet Grooming reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Gubuvo Pet Grooming operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
